Lucy Saye is an Insurance Actuary at Aviva, a Fellow of the IFoA, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary and a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She has been a member of the IFoA’s sustainability board since 2019, leading work on the Sustainable Development Goals and co-chairs the Intergenerational Fairness Working Party.
Lucy currently works in the risk function focusing on climate change risks and opportunities and alongside the public policy team on biodiversity loss. Previous roles have included more traditional actuarial areas in pricing, modelling, reporting and internal audit. She is particularly interested in the role of finance in delivering sustainable and just economic outcomes and is an advocate for a pluralist approach to economics including collaborating with other professions.
